The radio capacity is distributed across the bands. A single laptop only uses the capabilities of its own WiFi hardware. The sum of the radio data rates is therefore not a realistic Internet speed test.
A suitable PoE+ switch delivers power and network over one cable. For full wired connection rate, a 2.5-GbE port is required; Cables and higher-level uplinks must also fit.
Modern laptops use an appropriately scheduled 6-GHz network, while older devices remain on 5 GHz. Visitors receive isolated WiFi. For video conferences, utilization and channel occupancy in the meeting room are measured.
The specific equipment is checked on site based on the requirements.
The Pro Max offers eight instead of six data streams and additional spectral analysis. Both models have a 2.5-GbE uplink.
View U7 Pro Max in detail →It can connect the access point with a suitable PoE+ supply, but limits the wired data path to 1 Gbit/s. For 2.5 GbE, the switch port must also support this rate.

Radio coverage, channel planning, PoE and roaming are tailored to rooms and devices. Guest and company networks can be specifically separated.
The required number of access points results from radio planning and measurement. Room layout, walls, simultaneous use and the capabilities of the end devices influence the result.
