The common budget must be sufficient for all consumers. The decisive factors are the maximum power consumption and the required PoE class, not just the number of ports.
SFP+ is a connection type
The two SFP+ slots require suitable modules or direct connection cables. Distance, remote station and medium determine the choice. Multiple such switches do not form an ECS-S stack.

Office with four WiFi zones
Four U7 Pro are connected to the 2.5-GbE ports. Workstations and telephones use additional ports; a 10G uplink leads to the central network. The PoE budget is checked including telephones and reserves.
The specific equipment is checked on site based on the requirements.
When does a different model make sense?
The ECS-48S-PoE adds significantly more fast ports, real stacking and redundant power supplies for larger systems.

Can this switch connect the U7 Pro XGS with 10 GbE?
The RJ45 ports offer at most 2.5 GbE. An XGS connected there cannot therefore use a 10 Gbit cable path. For 10 GbE with PoE++, suitable other port equipment is required.
Does Irontec support planning and setup in Switzerland?
We clarify the deployment, select the additional infrastructure and agree on setup, documentation and ongoing support. Hardware and services are clearly listed in the offer.

Plan and operate appropriately
We size ports, PoE budget and uplinks together. Cabling, optics and power supply must match the planned equipment.
We check port occupancy and power budget based on the connected devices. Redundancy requires suitable remote stations and separate power and connection paths.
