The technology of the G6 Turret explained
Turret design and orientation
The camera is adjusted in the desired direction during installation. This is not a remote controlled panning function. The location should capture the important area and avoid unnecessary parts of the image.
PoE and Protect
Power and network run via one cable. A suitable UniFi Protect platform is included for recording. The camera alone is not a complete video system.

Entrance to a commercial building
The camera is aligned so that the desired entrance area is in the image. Before final assembly, the backlight and night image are checked. Access and retention period are determined in the operating concept.
The specific equipment is checked on site based on the requirements.
When does a different model make sense?
The G6 Pro Bullet offers optical zoom and a different sensor. It is suitable for scenes where the image detail needs to be adjusted more.

Can the G6 Turret be panned remotely?
The alignment described here is done mechanically during assembly. It should not be confused with a motorized PTZ camera.
Does Irontec support planning and setup in Switzerland?
We clarify the deployment, select the additional infrastructure and agree on setup, documentation and ongoing support. Hardware and services are clearly listed in the offer.

Image detail, lighting conditions and installation location determine the selection. We coordinate recording, access rights and storage requirements together.
A usable video system requires suitable cameras, network, PoE supply and recording. Storage requirements and access rights are determined before installation.
